Staff team giving Goats, Rabbits and Chickens

December 26, 2010

Our staff team just gave a Christmas gift to those in need and gave a gift of several farm  animals to help change the lives of several poor families — by enabling them to build a better, more hopeful future for themselves. Here is what we gave;

 6 Rabbits

Bunnies are fun to give and a great small business opportunity for a family. A pair of rabbits can produce up to 20 baby bunnies a year. This means our gift of 6 bunnies will rapidly reproduce to provide a plentiful source of food and income. It will certainly help lift a struggling family out of poverty with this bountiful gift.

 3 Goats

Goats provide families with protein and income to help them survive and thrive. One dairy goat can give up to 250 liters of milk a year. Two can be bred to produce 2 to 3 kids a year, and eventually multiply into a whole herd. These hearty animals eat grass and leaves, and do well in harsh climates. Giving these goats will certainly leave a lasting legacy.

 4 Hens and a Rooster

Two hens and a rooster can produce up to 150 eggs a year s0 double that, which can be eaten, sold or hatched to provide a continual supply of nutritious food and essential income. We think we gave wings to two family’s dreams.
